Sigma relies on Mapex to automate data capture and drive continuous improvement
Sigma‘s search for an MES system provider began in 2014, as a result of the need for a platform that would help them to drive the digital transformation of some of their factories in Spain; to manage and control data in real time, and to implement continuous improvement plans, among other things.
According to Sigma’s IST Industrial Applications manager, the process of selecting an MES system was very thorough. In the end, Mapex’s agility and flexibility were decisive factors for this Mexican food giant and owner of Campofrío Food Group.
